National Championships: 5 (4th)

The Duke Blue Devils have won the National championship in 1991, 1992, 2001, 2010, and 2015. It comes as no surprise that Coach K has been a part of all 5 of these championships. In addition, star players such as Christian Laettner, Bobby Hurley, and Grant Hill helped lead Duke towards their first two ever National Championships in 1991 and 1992. Superstars such as Jahlil Okafor, Brandon Ingram, Austin Rivers, Jayson Tatum, and Marvin Bagley III were all drafted in the lottery. Duke is projected to have three players from the 2019 season to also be drafted in the lottery, likely pushing them into first place in the category. Currently, they only trail Kentucky with the most players drafted in the NBA lottery.

His superb coaching ability and stellar recruiting has lead Duke to be one of the most dominant college basketball teams over the past 39 years.With Coach K still at the helm, Duke should be considered contenders for the 2019-2020 college basketball season.
