The Kansas City Chiefs are currently 9-2, driven by an offense rated in the top 3 league-wide in almost every measurable statistic. At this point, it’s not a matter of if they will make the playoffs but how far they will go. The Chiefs have a history of making early playoff exits, and this year, they will be looking to turn a new leaf. With young phenom Patrick Mahomes under center, many followers of the league believe that this could be the year that the Chiefs show the rest of the league that they are more than a regular season team.

The Chiefs have very active fans throughout the country. Unsurprisingly, they are undefeated at home, and their fans’ contributions show up on paper. Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs’ home, is the world’s loudest stadium, a fact that can only be attributed to this particularly devoted fan base. As these first 16 games come to an end, the elite teams of the NFL begin the real season. With a fan base as loud and loyal as theirs, the Chiefs will look to carry their home-field advantage through the post-season and end the year with some hardware.

The Oakland Raiders have one of the more eventful histories among professional sports franchises. The team, founded in Oakland in 1960, left for the big city in 1982- Los Angeles. But, 12 years later, they would pack their bags and return home. Now, unhappy with their stadium, the Raiders have plans to move to Las Vegas for the 2019 season. Through all of this, Raiders fans have been tasked with staying with a team that seems to constantly challenge their loyalty.

The problem that not many see is that the Raiders have never had a stadium of their own. While fans may see it as an abandonment, the Raiders might just be looking for a home. Be it anger over relocation or a desire to start winning again, Raiders fans have found a way to remain some of the most rowdy and electric fans in the league. With a history like the Raiders’, it would be impossible to not have masses of out-of-market fans. Raiders fans don’t just sit around and complain. Rather, they have established hubs across the country that unite fans to root for their favorite team together.

The New York Giants have struggled as of late. After a 3-13 2017 campaign, the Giants currently sit at 2-7. And yet, week after week, their stadium is full. The Giants are unique in that they possess a quality that most other professional football teams could only dream of: perpetual relevancy. Despite their objective failure in the past two seasons, the Giants remain one of the most popular professional teams for three main reasons. Primarily, the New York sports market is both the largest and one of the most lucrative markets in the country.

Even while consistently losing, the Giants can always rely on thorough and exciting media coverage that reaches the entire country. Secondly, the Giants remain relevant because some of the most polarizing stars in the sport always seem to find their way to the team. Players like Odell Beckham Jr. and Landon Collins always find a way to remain in the spotlight. Love them or hate them, nobody can stop watching them play.

And finally, perhaps the most important contributor to the Giants’ reputation is their fans. Year in and year out, Giants fans keep showing up to games and engaging in the community. Whether they are enjoying success or toughing out failure, you’ll be hearing about the Giants. Their fans and their city will make sure of it.

It really doesn’t matter how the Bears became a national brand- they are one. On any given Sunday at Soldier Field, you might find yourself running into Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, or even former President Barack Obama. With a sudden rise in talent, the Bears seem to be getting back on track, and fans everywhere are preparing to flock to the windy city to see “Da Bears” as their team gets closer and closer to emulating their former self.

Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Watch Parties & Fan Club Events for PIT

Wiz Khalifa’s 2010 hit, “Black and Yellow,” acted as a Steelers anthem throughout their 2011 super bowl run. As the players emerged from the tunnel, fueled by new fight song, Steelers fans were once again reminded of how in-tune the Steelers organization remained with their fan base. The Steelers and their fans connect through the iconic city of Pittsburgh, a blue-collar town founded on the backs of steelworkers.

Fittingly, they are led by the rugged “Big Ben” Roethlisberger, a 1-year high school quarterback out of Lima, Ohio (and 2 time Super Bowl champion). If it isn’t clear enough, the Steelers have been successful because they make the most out of what they have. They certainly belong in Pittsburgh in that their charm is subtle, yet inexplicably apparent; they don’t need to be flashy to be noticed. Pittsburgh fans are overwhelmingly everyday people, and they remain loyal to their team because, in the chaos of daily life, the Steelers don’t forget about them.
