Tennessee Titans NFL Watch Parties & Fan Club Events for TEN

Although many teams have a rich and storied history, few have one as unique as the Tennessee Titans. Like many teams, they have found success over the years. However, unlike many teams, much of their success came under a different name and in a different city.

Before relocating to Tennessee in 1997, the Titans were the Houston Oilers. The Oilers were a successful franchise in their own right, especially prior to the AFL-NFL merger, winning AFL championships in 1960 and 1961. The Titans have reached the playoffs numerous times, with a Super Bowl loss in 2000. Despite a solid season, the Titans narrowly missed the postseason this year. Led by head coach Mike Vrabel and young starts like quarterback Marcus Mariota, running back Derrick Henry, and wide receiver Corey Davis, however, the Titans could be primed to make another deep playoff run soon.

Los Angeles Chargers NFL Watch Parties & Fan Club Events

Relocation is always a difficult process for an NFL team. It is difficult to leave behind a passionate and devoted fan base. The team’s move was initially met with skepticism, as many wondered how the Chargers would fare in a new market. However, there is one surefire way for a team to endure themselves to a new fanbase: winning.

With a strong 12-4 season this year, fan interest in the team has increased, and some of these concerns have lessened. Although the Chargers won an AFL championship in 1963, the team has only reached the Super Bowl once, losing in 1995. Led by a talented roster highlighted by potential Hall of Fame quarterback Philip Rivers, offensive stars like running back Melvin Gordon and wide receiver Keenan Allen, and a fearsome defense led by defensive end Joey Bosa and Derwin James, who was named a first team All Pro as a rookie, the Chargers look primed to take home their first Lombardi Trophy shortly.

Houston Texans NFL Watch Parties & Fan Club Events for HOU

As the youngest team in the NFL, the Texans haven’t had the same experiences as some older franchises. The team played its first season in 2002, following a hiatus from football in Houston after the Oilers departed after nearly 40 years in the city. However, just because the team doesn’t yet have the history of older franchises doesn’t mean that the Texans are any less relevant or their fans any less passionate.

The Texans have repeatedly made the playoffs in recent years and look like a team to watch this postseason. The team boasts a strong roster stocked with talent, headlined by superstar defensive end JJ Watt, marquee wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and electric young quarterback Deshaun Watson. Houston has embraced its new team over the last 20 years, but this could be the season when they are finally rewarded with a Lombardi Trophy?

New Orleans Saints NFL Watch Parties & Fan Club Events for NO

There are few teams in football that command as much respect as the New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees is making a case to be acknowledged as the G.O.A.T (greatest of all time) as he continues to lead the Saints in a record-setting career year. Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram, and Michael Thomas are Brees’ weapons of choice, together helping the Saints achieve one of the best records in the league.

The Saints’ recent tradition of success is no coincidence. The story goes like this. The Saints are more than an elite NFL team. They are a symbol of New Orleans, a city with one of the most unique cultures in the world. Following Hurricane Katrina, 80% of New Orleans was underwater. The Saints, displaced themselves, were looked at as a beacon of hope for the devastated city. Along came a young quarterback named Drew Brees, and the Saints hoisted the Lombardi Trophy four years later.
