Hockey, watch party

Minnesota Wild Watch Parties & Fan Club Events for MIN

In the land of 10,000 lakes, hockey is an essential part of life that people look at like a necessity. Minnesota is known as The State of Hockey — and for good reason. Hockey is one of the most popular sports in Minnesota, especially at the high school level. More than 135,000 fans go to the Minnesota Boys State Hockey Tournament. Each year, Minnesota high school hockey embarks new records over the attendance for a high school hockey tournament. In addition, Minnesota is the mecca for college hockey. Last year, four schools were in the NCAA hockey tournament (Minnesota State, St. Cloud State, University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, University of Minnesota-Duluth). All in all, the professional hockey team, the Minnesota Wild, are cheered for very passionately by the hockey-loving Minnesotans. This year, the Minnesota Wild are two games out of the last playoff spot and are putting themselves in a solid place as they are soon to be at the home-stretch of the regular season as the playoffs are nearing. In order for the Wild to win the majority of their upcoming games, they will need to put in a lot of hard work and will need all Wild fans to support their team in any way they can. Right before the postponement of the NHL season due to Covid-19, there were 13 more games left in the regular season, the Wild have a reason to be hopeful considering they have a 47% chance of making it into the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
