          The Washington Nationals, winners of the 2019 World Series, are among the top teams baseball teams in the country and continue to establish a supportive fanbase throughout the Washington D.C area and other parts of the country. The team’s usage of social media allows the fans to truly feel as if they are part of the team, interacting

with players and coaches, and understanding what goes through the minds of the team. Pittsburgh Penguins NHL Watch Parties and Fan Club Events for PIT

In a city filled with sports teams, the Pittsburgh Penguins have a very large fan base. The city of Pittsburgh has the 7th most sports championships among U.S. cities. The Penguins themselves have five Stanley Cup wins since the team’s founding in 1967. The official Penguins has a Twitter account with 1.8 million followers. The Penguins also have 1.4 million followers on Instagram and just over 1.9 million Facebook followers. They have a total of 5.1 million followers across the 3 platforms.

Located in the 6th most densely populated major city, the Miami Marlins have a very large, and diverse fan base. The Marlins are accessible to anyone from any city. The Marlins have 344k followers on Twitter and 700k followers on Facebook. They also have an additional 472k followers on Instagram. The Miami Marlins have a grand total of 1.516 million followers across the 3 major social media platforms.

Chicago Blackhawks NHL Watch Parties & Fan Club Events for the Blackhawks

With a rich history and eccentric players like Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, The Chicago Blackhawks have been a top contender in the National Hockey League in recent years.  Blackhawks fans are described as a tight-knit group and very passionate hockey fans. It is no surprise that the official team website is essential to the fanbase, connecting fans nationally through the “Community” tab. This utter sense of community permeates through the numerous Blackhawks fan clubs spread throughout the nation.  With 422 known fan clubs, Blackhawks fans across the country regularly convene to watch games, simultaneously creating lasting bonds with each other.  Whether it be the Chicago Born, Arizona Based Sports Fans or the Chi Town in A Town club, FanWide connects remote fans all around the country for viewing parties and other fan events.

Playing their home games at Madison Square Garden (also known as “The World’s Most Famous Arena”), the New York Rangers have built a large network of fans. This is partly due to the team’s big market location, but it is also due to the team’s internet and social media presence. On both Instagram (956,000 followers) and Twitter (1.45 million followers), the Rangers have developed strong resources for fans. Both accounts provide constant updates and highlights so that the fanbase can feel connected with their team.

The Boston Bruins have a large and accessible social media portfolio, having the 11th best hockey fan base according to Fox Sports. While Bruin fans in Boston have an great attendance rate among NHL teams, fans across the country can access information on the Bruins wherever they may be. The Bruins have the 6th most Twitter followers out of all the NHL teams with 1.45 million followers (according to statista). Adding on, the Bruins have over 2 million likes on Facebook and an additional 1.2 million followers on Instagram. The Bruins have a total following of around 4.75 million followers on the major social media platforms.

Phoenix Suns NBA Watch Parties & Fan Club Events for PHX

The Phoenix Suns may play for the city of Phoenix, but they also represent the entire desert area of southwestern USA. Although the Suns have struggled in the recent past, a young core has been established that are set to rejuvenate the city of Phoenix. Revolving around Devin Booker, the Suns have begun to form a core group of players around their star player. The 2018 first overall pick, Deandre Ayton, is progressing nicely, along with Kelly Oubre Jr. and Mikal Bridges. They have not made the playoffs since 2010, but there is no reason not to believe that this is the year that things will change. This young core also has veteran point guard Ricky Rubio who will be integral as a veteran in the locker room. Like in Philadelphia, Phoenix has been “trusting the process” the past couple of seasons in order to create a core foundation of young stars that is able to make a playoff push.

Due to their location in the nation’s capital, the Washington Wizards gather a lot of fan interest. In DC, there are a lot of Washington Wizards fans. The Wizards draw many fans to watch their games due to the phenomenal history of the Washington Bullets, especially in the 1970’s. Within that decade, the Bullets won 4 conference championships, as well as one NBA championship in the 1978 season. If you want to feel like you are in DC a part of every Washington Wizards game, there are several ways to stay connected. There are many fan clubs that include day to day news and rumors about the Wizards’ most recent transactions and reports, many of which are on Instagram.
